I achieved a BSc in Biomedicine from the University of Puerto Rico, Ponce, PR and a MD Degree from Universidad Autónoma Guadalajara. I was also part of a research team at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Currently, I created my own wellness and health website called easyfitnesslife.com. It focuses on my journey to weight loss as a feasible and fun way. My goal is to show how to re-learn and re-signify the word “diet”. Health, fitness and science are my main goals and interests. Working out as a way to health, not as a punishment, or for the sole purpose to lose weight, is what moved me and was part of the reason to create my own health website.

Changing gears in terms of diet approach can be overwhelming, even with a background in the medical field. My transition to a plant based diet seemed like walking into a new territory. Wanting to lose weight was my main goal, but also to get the benefits in terms of cardiovascular health.
